1. What TeamTradie Is

TeamTradie is an AI-powered office management assistant for trade businesses, delivered via WhatsApp. It helps with job tracking, invoicing, quote follow-ups, scheduling, and daily briefs.

TeamTradie is not a licensed professional. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, or building compliance advice. All outputs are suggestions that you must verify before acting on.

2. Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for verifying all information, quotes, invoices, and messages generated by TeamTradie before they are sent to your customers.
  • Customer-facing messages drafted by TeamTradie require your explicit approval before sending. You must review and approve, edit, or reject each outbound message.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of business data you provide (pricing, client details, job information).
  • You must not use TeamTradie for any unlawful purpose or to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited messages.

3. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. TeamTradie depends on third-party services (WhatsApp, cloud infrastructure, AI models) that may experience outages. We will notify you of planned maintenance where possible.

4. Data & Privacy

Your use of TeamTradie is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using TeamTradie, you consent to the collection and processing of data as described in that policy.

You retain ownership of all business data you provide. We process your data solely to deliver the service. We do not sell your data.

5. Customer Data

When you use TeamTradie, you may share your customers' information (names, phone numbers, addresses, job details). You confirm that you have the right to share this information with us for the purpose of managing your business. We act as a data processor on your behalf for this customer data.

6. Billing & Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Paddle. You can cancel at any time. On cancellation, your account remains active until the end of the billing period, after which your agent is deactivated. You may request full deletion of your data at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeamTradie's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the subscription fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, lost business, or damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

8. AI Disclaimer

TeamTradie uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, suggestions, and draft communications. AI can make mistakes. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You must exercise your own judgement before acting on any AI-generated content.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you via WhatsApp of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
